Our client was going to 24 hour operation and needed a reliable chiller for its cold pressed raw dairy products.
The installation of the 100kW Blue Box chiller at Made By Cow in Sydney was a great success and has met the requirements of our client. The energy-efficient features of the chiller, such as the inverter scroll compressors and microchannel aluminium coils result in 30% less refrigerant required which is impressive. It’s great that they have been able to achieve energy savings of up to 12% per year. The use of EC axial fans to further increase energy savings by 15% per fan motor is also a smart move.
The monitoring and remote management system is another valuable addition, allowing monitoring of the chiller’s performance and the ability to respond quickly to any issues that may arise. Our client is satisfied with their selection and that the chiller has been operating without any breakdowns for 12 months.
